Stephanie and I took Emma and Claire to the zoo this past Friday. It was perfect weather, not too hot and not too cold. My mother in law has a family pass to the zoo so she met us up there and got us in for free. I haven't been to the zoo since last year and my oh my is it under construction or what?!? It's changing so much.
We saw the elephants with the baby outside. Elephants are just so beautiful. And baby elephants are even cuter.

The giraffes were Claire's favorite animal just like every other animal. Each animal we came upon was her favorite and she would say "Wow, this is my favorite animal"
The baby giraffe was allowed outside with the other giraffes. We first saw him inside but they finally let him out.

Emma is as tall as an infant and Claire as tall as an adult female.
It was a fun day that we ended with picking up Wendy's for lunch and eating at my parents. My mom and dad were going through withdrawals of not seeing Emma...only 1 day after Disneyland. Claire had a blast telling my mom she was a bear that eats people and was climbing all over her. It was quite fun to hear Claire's stories.
