Kittens for Free

My sister in law Robyn's friend Darcie has these little bundles of fur that need a good home. She works at a stable and they have feral cats. They catch the kittens and raise them til their old enough to go to homes. They try and catch the moms so they can be spayed. I really wouldn't mind keeping a kitten but my poor Toast might think I hate her. So if anyone knows anyone that wants a kitten and is serious about taking one, let me know.

My Kitchen

This is our kitchen now. Lots of work and there is still tons to do in there. We definitely enjoy having it functional again.

Here are some of the old kitchen pics
Steve and I have remodeled our kitchen. It is such a slow process doing it yourself but eventually it will be done.

Miss Kimberlee

I had the opportunity to hang out with Kimberlee the other day while her Mommy (Shirley) went to an appointment. We had fun visiting 4 North where her mom and I both work. It was quite the site to see Mary holding little KD. She enjoyed playing with Mary's stethoscope, while I made sure it didn't make it in the mouth. Richard really liked hanging out and playing KD also. She is such a happy baby and easy to take care of.

My New Car

Well I could no longer wait to find my Honda. We just don't know how long it will take to recover it. Steve and I started to comb the online ads for a car. We were going back and forth between a MINI Cooper, Volkswagen Beetle or a Toyota Corolla. We ended up buying a Subaru Legacy sedan. It's really nice and it has AWD. This is my new baby that will be upgraded with a better alarm system. And it will be staying in the garage.

Stolen Car

The silver Honda Civic is my car. It was stolen out of my driveway on April 17th. These are the only two pictures I could find of it. I am very sad that it was taken from me. I hope we find it in somewhat decent shape. The police said they ususally recover stolen cars within 2 weeks. We are approaching the 2 week mark on Thursday May 1st. They told me that it also isn't a good sign that they haven't found it yet because that usually means that it has been stripped down and ditched or driven out of state. I hope the bastards will get what karma will bring them.

Steph & Nich

My sister in law Stephanie and her new husband Nich were married April 10, 2008. Their wedding was alot of fun, though I wasn't too sure how to dance to bluegrass music. I don't think anyone knew how to dance to bluegrass but a bunch of people still did. Aren't they beautiful together?? I am so happy for them.

ATA and Hawaii

So as most of you know, ATA airlines went out of business at the beginning of April. Our flights from the mainland to Kauai were on ATA. We waited for Expedia to contact us but I finally called them and figured out how we were going to get there. So we are truly going to go to Kauai!!! And it's an even better deal since we fly directly to Honolulu from Salt Lake City, then to Kauai. Bring on the beaches....

Brittany

Brittany you don't need to delete me because now I have a post. I will have to mess around with this during the week I have off. So give me time and I will put stuff on here. Love ya
