The first full day we sort of hung out with everyone. They set up these targets on the trees with pictures of animals. Kaye gave the little kids rubber band guns that they could shoot them with. You had to watch out for yourself since little kids don't know how to aim well. Little Grant eating lunch after he painted his walking stick blue.
This is a picture of my sister in law Robyn and brother in law Dan. My two coolest in-laws of the family that were at the campout.
My cute sister in law Rinda thats prego. She is having her second baby in November. It's a girl and I am so excited. Plus I got to feel her move for the first time. I can't wait to buy her little girl stuff and to babysit. Steve thinks this baby will be a brat like Rinda was when she was little. Grant is an angel so the I guess the next has to be somewhat bad. Poor Rinda, gets teased that she's getting fat from her brothers. Good thing she can take it!!
Oh what a cutie!!! Little Jayden....at the last campout he had colic and we all felt so bad for Leslie. It would be terribly hard to deal with a child with colic. But he finally outgrew the problem. A few months ago, a pharmacist made an error on the dosage of Reglan and Jayden ended up in the hospital. He was having seizures and arching his back. I had no idea that Reglan could be that dangerous. I am too used to adult dosages. Thankfully Leslie's dad is a firefighter and when he saw little Jayden he was gray and he put oxygen on him and rushed him to the hospital. Since that time he has turned into the cutest kid and so happy. He was fun to play with.
Everyone was hanging out in the shade. Here is Steve, Rinda and Leslie. She is one of my favorite cousins. She is so friendly and is easy to talk to. Someday Steve and I will get up to visit her and her husband Jamie, who is equally awesome. He is so down to earth.
We had a problem with our campsite. It says it's a loop campground for the group site. We registered for 100 people. First they only have 1 bathroom for 100 people, second, it's supposed to be a loop and the campground host kept parking in front of the gate on the one side. So if you drove up the loop you would have to back down. Rinda and I asked them if they could move their truck and they did without question. The next morning their stupid truck was parked in the road blocking the loop. Once again I asked them if they could move it. I had to ask them 3 times to move their truck. Then they had the nerve to say that the loop is for people with trailers. I was pissed about it. We had to tell them we had a pregnant woman that can't walk up that far and that we had a disabled person that can't walk up to the top. It took til the day we left to get them to not park in the loop road. They were pretty lame.
My newly wedded brother in law and his wife Jessica. He is the one that just got back from his mission in March and got married in June. Luckily he and Jessica dated for 2 years prior to him going on his mission.

On friday, Kaye hosted the Shelton family Olympics. Here are the little kids under 7 years old doing a sack race. Not all of them understood how to do it. Bryson, the oldest got it. Grant caught on as he watched Bryson. And poor little Abby was too little to really do it. She got frustrated as you can see in the pictures.

Next it was the girls 18-30 or atleast that's how it ended up. I didn't race because I was going to wait for Steve but of course no one could get him to participate. Robyn decided to just hop on her one leg and not bother with her prosthetic...as you can see that didn't quite work out(She's the one in front of the girl you can't see). That last picture is right before she landed on the ground!
Now it was the boys turn. Spencer immediately fell in front of Dan which Dan had to push Spencer out of his way. They came flying by us at high speed. It was all too funny.
OUR BLUE
So the other problem we had the ENTIRE time we were on vacation was actually back in Salt Lake. Emily, our friend, agreed to take care of our animals while we were gone. Since she works close by she was able to come in the mornings and evenings to feed the dogs. Well she went above and beyond what was expected of her. She tried to take both the dogs on a walk which didn't quite work out. They took her for a ride down our front steps. At that point, she decided to take one at a time. Blue did just fine for her but Cooper got out of his collar and she had to tackle him to get him back on the leash. The next problem occurred when Emily came over to find diarrhea in our front rooms. First of all, our dogs are very good at holding their bowels and bladders so it was unusual. She ended up cleaning up poop alot. She finally listened to us and just left the dogs outside during the day with water. She got off work Friday and came over. None of the dogs were in the yard. She searched our neighborhood and asked the neighbors if they had seen them. Finally Cooper was found standing by our truck but Blue was no where to be found. She saw an animal control truck go by and she stalked the poor lady until she stopped. Emily was hysterical at the thought that Blue was dead. Thankfully the animal control lady looked up whether a chocolate lab had been picked up in the neighborhood and there had been! She was going to go bail him out but it was too late. She felt so bad that she had lost one of our dogs. And we felt so bad that they had all these issues of diarrhea and running away. In the end when we got home from Idaho, we bailed Blue out of dog jail.
Whoever painted them before we bought the house, they painted on the metal knobs and handles so I had to boil them with baking soda to remove the old paint.

Tomorrow I will finish the other 3 doors and hang the ones that have dried for over 24 hours. Someday we will finish this house. And I just had to add this pic of my cute kitten, Toast. She was sleeping on this chair with Steve's music blasting in her ears. She was so sweet looking, too bad that's not how she is all the time. She's mischevious!!
After swimming, we went to Roberts crafts. I have been wanting to get a magnet board for my kitchen. Amy wanted to Modg-Podg a magnet board. I have never heard of Modg-Podg but they had an example at the store. It's way cute and looks pretty easy to do. I may make one someday. We bought all our supplies and today I finished mine. I can't wait to see Amy's since it's for her baby's room. I have already added my magnets and invites we have received.
