I am now 23 weeks pregnant and feeling much better than before. There are definitely days that are worse than others when the heartburn attacks me. I have found that by dosing myself with Zantac 3 times a day helps tremendously. I swear if there were not drugs for heartburn, Emma would be an only child!
I still have not had any cravings for certain foods and I am not starving to death. I believe it all has to do with the heartburn. It doesn't make me feel good which doesn't make me want to eat much. I haven't gained any weight since finding out I was pregnant. I actually lost weight and have to yet to make it back to the original number. I am okay with that and so is my doctor. He says "Just wait....it will come"
I am not sure what I am going to do for clothes this fall and winter. I found some jeans but every time I look at maternity shirts I don't like them one bit. And I know there is no way I can fit into my shirts with my belly getting bigger. Oh the decisions to make!
One week ago, after working on our house all day, I was in the shower and felt Emma moving so much! When I got out, I laid on our bed and watched my belly, sure enough I could see her kicking or punching me. I was so excited! I called Steve over so he could see it too. Amazing to be able to see that now. I feel her all the time now.
We found Emma's bedding and what we will center her room around.
We are going to use a neutral wall color with the possibility of the green and some polka dots. The pink will be bright like her bedding in the next picture.
I love this bedding and can't wait to start decorating her room. She has lots of clothes already but we still are on the look out for furniture and other big items. Hopefully it turns out good!
We are working on our front rooms right now trying to get them done sooner than later. We have painted and now need to put the floor in. Once we get the floor in the living room we can move our furniture into it and decorate. Then it's on to the dining room and hallway. After that, Emma's room!
We are so excited to meet this little girl and have our world turned upside down! She is going to Disneyland in April at 3 months old. We are excited for that trip! It will be interesting.
