Edge is 4 months old! Time is going too fast. Well I am back to work and it was hard to give up the routine of daily life we had created the last 3+ months ago. However, it is nice to be back and have adults to converse with. Emma and Edge are going to family when I work so Steve treks them across the valley 3 days a week.
Edge is up to:
~Smiling!!! This little boy has the biggest smile ever. You barely have to look at him to get him to give you a gummy grin.
~ talking....he squeals and talks a lot...very loud.
~ rolled from tummy to back
~ rolled from back to tummy to back
~ 14 pounds 1 ounce (19th%)
~25 inches (39%)
~ loves his toes...have to pry them away from him to change his diaper
~ now taking formula during the day and breastfeeding at night
~happiest little guy ever
Emma is getting bigger every day...we may almost be moving into size 4 diapers but we are also thinking about potty training. She points to her diaper and brings us new ones when she wants to be changed. Now we are just waiting to be stuck at home for a week while we try. Emma is a good big sister most of the time. She really loves Edge but definitely likes our attention whether bad or good, so she will hit him on the head while looking right at us.
Oh the joys of 2 year olds!!! And then we found out 3's are worse than 2's. Bring it on!!! Thank goodness they only stay little and crazy for a while. Then at least they start understanding consequence's, right???
For Easter we did a small Easter Egg hunt in our backyard. We tried not to get blown away with the huge gusts of wind. When we first went outside, Emma just wanted to ride her swivel car. When she saw an egg on the car she chucked it aside...it broke and revealed candy. From that point on she was interested in finding the eggs. Edge stayed bundled up with Dad while we found eggs.
First try in the bumbo
