Oh how our garden grows!

Now that we planted our garden a little over a month ago, I thought I would show the growth that our plants have had. It's amazing how fast they grow. We have multiple tomato plants producing fruit, now if they would only turn red so we can eat them. We have one bell pepper that is almost as big as the one's you buy in the store, but again it's a red bell pepper that has not turned color. Our cucumber and zucchini plants look like they will be producing lots of vegetables. We are very excited to have our own veggie garden. Soon we will be able to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Garden

Steve decided last year that he wanted to do a garden this year. Last fall, he tilled all the grass and leaves into a big chunk of our backyard designated to be the "garden". Well we finally got around to planting some vegetables in it. It's probably a good thing we procrastinated since our weather has given us winter in spring. So for our first garden, we chose tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, bell peppers, onions, and basil.
As all of you know, we are a family of 2! Steve wanted to plant different types of vegetables but they come in packs of 6 so we now have 19 tomato plants, 3 cucumber plants, and 10 bell pepper plants. He promises that he will be eating tomatoes every day when he gets home from work. We will see how well he keeps that promise. So to our gardens good growth!!!

Boyz II Men

Now how many of you girls out there can say that you have been to a Boyz II Men concert??? Not many but I can. And for $10! Trinh, Becky and I went out to Wendover Nevada for the concert at the Peppermill Concert Hall on March 5th. For weeks before the concert, we were teased about going to the concert but we know most of you are jealous. Who wasn't a fan of Boyz II Men when we were kids!!! Well we made it to Wendover in 90 minutes with the help of my lead foot. Just enough time to check in to the hotel, drop the bags and head to the concert.

We shared a cheap room at the Rainbow and enjoyed a little bit of gambling. When I say a little bit, I never moved off the Penny slots. I am so not into losing my money that that's all I could stand to lose. And I have no idea how people can just sit there and hit a button all day and night. I was so bored that I felt like I was falling asleep at the machine.
In the morning, we went to the Rainbow Buffet for breakfast and that was super delicious. Stuffing ourselves with all sorts of goodness. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one!!!
