6 month old Edge

Edge is half a year old and growing so fast. He has an amazing little personality. Always so happy and smiley for anyone especially me though. He loves to squeal in delight. He loves watching his sister race back and forth in front of him.  

Stats for the month-

~Height 26.75 inches

~Weight 16 pounds 4 ounces

~ Pulling himself around the floor....I think crawling is coming soon

~ Starting solids....watermelon is a favorite so far

~Almost sitting up on his own

~Eating 5 bottles a day

~ Wearing the last bit of size 2 diapers then Mamma is moving you up to size 3

~ Still the most smiley baby I know

~ Wakes 1 to 2 times a night

We took an adventure to the zoo in the middle of June. My mother in law flew back east to bring cousin Matthew back for a 10 day visit. We met up at the zoo one hot day. Emma loved running around with her cousins. Claire and Grant were big kids of the group leading the little kids. 

And since Edge is almost 6 months old we started with some food. He doesn't have the swallow reflex down quite yet. I only need a few teaspoons of baby food to feed him as he just pushes it right back out of his mouth. However, he loves watermelon. I give him watermelon in a mesh bag that he can safely suck on. He gets mad when it's empty and gets excited when he sees me putting more fruit in it.
